Meet the team...
We are young entrepreneurs enthusiastic about the art of sewing. Our business began in 2009, with setting up shop in the corner of our family's front porch sewing children's clothing, and has grown into a multi-service sewing facility.
We specialize in wedding dress alterations, customized wedding dresses, formal alterations and sometimes casual alterations, repairs, and other custom clothing and home decor, depending on the time of year with wedding season being our busy time. We are so excited every time a client walks into the door of our shop.

Victoria Salinger
My mom taught me to sew when I was young and I loved it. After high school I decided to start a sewing business and BellaJean Boutique was born. Over time it evolved from only little girl dresses to designing, creating, and altering bridal gowns. I love having a business where I can help to bring joy to brides on their important day. Other passions of mine are being with my husband and children, baking, gardening, knitting, and diy.
Makena Swanzy
I began sewing at 7 years old when I started taking sewing classes here at BellaJean. It grew into a passion of mine as I experienced the joy of creating. In my senior year of high school I began working for BellaJean. Gradually, wedding gowns became my specialty. The creativity and artistry involved in taking a bride’s dream and bringing it to life, while altering it to be more flattering and comfortable for her, is something I look forward to each day. Other passions of mine are singing, playing cello, teaching, cooking, and drawing…and more sewing!
